Looking at my mask you can see a plaster mold of my face which I then painted. I used a base color of tan on which is glued painted ears, eyes and a mouth. When making my mask I incorporated the principle of contrast. This is a very key part of cubism using differnt sizes and shapes to change something plain. The artist my mask is supposed to reflect is Pablo Picasso. I tried to show the the cubist movement using different sizes of eyes and different angles and positions of them. I do not like my mask because I do not like the way I used 3D elements. I think that if my brainstorming took into account the the mask my face made I would have been able to think of different 3D elements that would look better
